Your Invisible Neighbor is a community project hosted by Bola Films and Community Based Consulting, designed to uplift unseen stories and connections in Bend. It includes a citywide letter-writing campaign, a short documentary premiere, a community event, and a month-long interactive exhibit.
When and where is the event?
The event will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Spiceland in Bend, Oregon. Doors open at 5:00 PM for early access to the exhibit and refreshments.

Can I still attend if I don’t submit a letter?
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to attend, listen, and engage with the stories shared. You will also have the opportunity to write a letter at the event.
What happens to my letter after I submit it?
Will the exhibit be open after the event?
Your letter may be included in the public exhibit and could be read aloud during the event. All letters will become part of a growing community archive, encouraging response letters and ongoing dialogue. Feel free to make your letter anonymous, or to sign a pen name.
